Vintage Mercedez seen in the Capital City Abuja was fotr Senator Dino Melaye..

The Self styled senator representing Kogi state at the National assembly the other day i was watching him on African independent television confessing to his personal love for automobile and keeping true to him was this vintage mercedez Benz, spotted in Abuja with registration Number "Dino-10" apparently reflecting ownership..

Senator Dino melaye in his own words and self confession said he has a lot of admiration for cars, i heard this on a program anchored by Zaki Azeez, the Torch-Light master, while he interviewed the Senator and then made the senator Hawk groundnuts on the streets of Kogi state.. it was a very expository and interesting documentary that captured my attention and i was glued to the television for as long as it lasted...

 that being said, the senator spoke brilliantly well and you'll think he is more than deserving of his seat, after hawking groundnut, he drove a tractor i think was being used for construction in his constituency and then the interview with Zak Azzey was a rap..

seeing this Benz vintage made me reflect how eloquently the man from Kogi spoke!

Well, i OMA also love cars especially vintage ones at that but the where-with-all and purchasing power to own them is where challenges are at the moment and im taking this time to celebrate those that have them and can flaunt them..

the senator is never afraid to show off whenever the time and chance avails itself..

Bolaji Ogunmola: I Have Gotten Roles Based On My Physical Attributes

Budding actress, Bolaji Ogunmola is fast becoming one of the neophytes in Nollywood worth paying attention. Though the left handed actress is endowed in the bosom, but she believes she has what it takes to succeed in Nollywood. She recently paid The News Guru a visit where she let her guard down, talking like the girl-next door. 

On her favorite qualities in a man, she says: “You have to be able to make me curious about you .When i am with you, it’s good to leave an impression .I want to be intrigued by you. You have to be good looking and you have to be able to hold your own. I cannot marry a man who doesn’t hold his own .You need to have your dreams, goals and aspirations in life. I cannot be with someone that does not challenge me to be better. My deal breaker in a relationship is if you don’t love God. If you are not passionate about God.”

When asked if she feels bad when she is criticized on social media about her boobs, she says: 

“I don’t feel bad because your opinion does not determine where i am going to. Before, i used to be very annoyed and very irritated. My upper body is part of me and won’t go away so i have to embrace it and be confident with it. What i feel comfortable in is what i wear. I respect your own opinion but it is not what i take into consideration when i make my decision. I have gotten roles based on my physical attributes because when you are given a role there are physical characterizations to be looked out for. So yes, i have.”

DICK THIEF: It was very common in the late 70's and early 80's along with 'gbomogbomo' (Child thief/kidnapper). Cases of alleged joystick theft were rife in those days in Nigeria.

Below is a picture of a mob beating a suspected dick snatcher.

Note how they are careful not to have hand-to-body contact with the accused and are beating him with sticks and shoes.

The peculiar thing about this so-called joystick thievery is the alleged dick snatchers were hardly ever killed because of the belief that the person who has had his member stolen will not be able to recover his joystick. If the one who stole the organ is killed then the victim will be left without an organ for the rest of his life...

Which begs the question...how will the alleged victim cope with the most basic functions like excretion? I vividly recall back then women clutched their breasts, while men double checked their trousers whenever someone poked them in a 'suspicious' manner.

joystick snatching is no longer as common these days, but. I have always wondered if there was ever any truth in these wild accusations. Can someone's sexual organ really be stolen?
